Since the inception of Hage v. US, two related cases have also arisen. The first is the ongoing water rights adjudication for waters on the Hage property in Nevada state court. This case is referred to as the Monitor Valley Water Adjudication.

The second is US v. Hage and Seaman, a criminal case brought by the US Forest Service in 1992, 4 months after the Hage family filed their takings case. The Forest Service pursued felony charges against Wayne Hage, which was viewed as an effort to pressure Wayne into dropping his Claims Court case. The Ninth Circuit unanimously reversed the Forest Service charges.
